Scholarship & Grant Packages

Applicants can apply for more than one category but no more than one award will be granted to successful candidates.
All applicants MUST complete Section A.  Sections B, C, D and E to be completed as applicable. Open to citizens and/or residents of The Bahamas only.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  It is NOT possible to save a partially completed application and return to it later.  It is therefore recommended that you prepare your application off-line in a separate document and then cut and paste as needed.  Similarly, videos should be ready to upload at the same time. Section A : General Information (to be completed by all applicants)
Academic Education
Section B: Piano Tuning Scholarship
Submit two character references – ask your referees to email their letters of reference to: nassaumusicsociety@gmail.com.  The character references MUST be received by
30 April 2019.
Please upload a piano performance video (2 minutes maximum).  The purpose of the video is to demonstrate your experience of and facility with the instrument.

I will agree to the terms, which will include two progress reports over a 12-month period, as well as a testimonial and video.
Section C : Instruments (Must currently be a student between 16 and 25 years of age.)

I will agree to the terms, which will include proof of remaining funds for my project if additional funds are required, a progress report within the first year, as well as a testimonial and video of any relevant performance relating to the grant.

Important Dates:

30 April 2019 – Application portal closes.  An application will not be considered unless all parts have been received, including uploaded materials and references.  

 

24 May 2019 – Decisions Announced

 

6 June 2019 – Presentation Ceremony – The Current, Baha Mar Gallery & Art Center
